At least I started MA ENGLISH

At least i started MA ENGLISH after 4 years of graduation. I was hoping that it would be easy than MATHEMATICS but when i saw the syllabus list, i was just like AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH....................... I will have to study all this?????


My classmates asked why m i shocked but i had no words to ans them. The syllabus is really too lengthy and exausting. We have to give five papers in First year which are Novel, drama, poetry, prose and American literature.


I have completed paper of novel last week. There are five novels in the syllabus of  MA English named as 'Pride and prejudice', 'A tale of two cities', 'Barchestor towers', 'Adam bede' and 'The return of the native'. The novel which i liked most is 'Pride and prejudice'. And the most boring one is 'Barchestor towers'.

Pride and prejudice is great literary work, Jane Austen wrote this novel. I just love the story of 'pride and prejudice' and the character i liked most is Darcy. The thing i liked is Darcy's attitude and maintaince of his rank in society.

The most complementry thing about this novel is that every man read this novel. This novel is not written for any specific class.

For novels we have to study too much about novel and its author. Additionally the questions given by university are literally difficult to get that what to answer to this question. At least question should be of the type that we can understand easily and attempt that. If we should not understand what examinar is asking then what we will answer? But dont know why punjab university is so cruel in making question paper.
